Alison is an English textiles and cyanotype / alternative photography artist whose academic background spans education, archaeology and illustration. Born in Cornwall she has always lived by the sea and is powerfully influenced by the beach, fossils and plants, the ancient landscape and museums.

She uses these influences to create artworks made predominantly using alternative photographic and block print techniques on paper and textile. This is often embellished with gilding and stitch.

Alison is also a passionate educator, teaching in schools colleges and leisure courses
